Pretty good 3 Min. Egg this go round and as mentioned VERY appropriate for the time(s).

Even more so as my father came over from Eskjo, Sweden in 1921 @ 6 months old to Clark & Foster in Chicago. So he certainly remembers stories of the depression which of course were passed on at times.

Thanks for the comment. Karin Andersson is a very good artist from Sweden, the same age as my son, and I don’t really think she was thinking about the recession when she did this work. But somehow her matter-of-fact, moving-on approach to life and art seemed to me to be typical of her generation and maybe a good approach for others of us to take to the recession we’re in now. Kathan
