Master Printer Emily York came to Crown Point Press after training as a printer at Paulson Press, a printmaking press in Berkeley founded by two former Crown Point master printers. Emily was born in Napa, California and grew up in St. Helena, in the Napa Valley. She received her BA in art with an emphasis on printmaking from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Ianne Kjorlie was born in Topeka, Kansas. She moved to Portland, Oregon to study art at Portland State University. In 2005 she received her Bachelor of Arts in Printmaking as well as a second Bachelor of Arts in Art History. In December of 2005 Ianne began interning at Crown Point Press where she is now a master printer.
Asa Muir-Harmony received her BA in Printmaking from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA, and her MFA in Printmaking from Rhode Island School of design in Providence, RI where she was recently an adjunct professor teaching the process of photogravure. Asa began working for Crown Point Press in 2007.
