This year, Crown Point is offering four workshops in etching and three in photogravure. Each session lasts 5 days, Monday through Friday, 9-5. Take two, if you can. We recommend that you have experience in etching before taking photogravure.
June 14-18: Etching only
June 21-25: Etching or Photogravure
July 12-16: Advanced Etching or Photogravure
July 19-23: Etching or Photogravure
The cost is $1,000 per workshop, including materials except paper and copper for etching, and paper, copper, film and gelatin for photogravure. The cost of those materials is based upon use, and is tallied at the end of each workshop.
Apply before April 1. Upon acceptance, a nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due, with the balance due one week prior to the first day of the workshop.

• Your name, address, phone number, email
• The workshop session(s) (etching or photogravure) you would like, with alternates if possible. Please make clear your order of preference for the alternate dates.
• Have you taken our workshops before?
• Tell us a little bit about yourself—are you an artist, printer, photo-grapher, student, teacher, curator, or interested layperson in the print world? Have you worked with printmaking before? What medium? How extensively? Please make this brief.
We prefer not to see examples of your art as part of your application, because on principle we don’t make judgments about the art of our workshop participants, either before or during the workshops. No experience is necessary in order to attend; you will work at your own speed with help from our printers.
