Sasha Baguskas Editor/Publications Manager

Sasha Baguskas has been at Crown Point Press since 1995. As editor and publications coordinator, she manages the layout, design and production of all publications that are produced at Crown Point Press, including Crown Point’s newsletter, Overview, all print advertising, and the Crown Point books. She oversees in part the Crown Point bookstore, and manages part of the magical-secrets website. Sasha has done the layout and production for the following books: Why Draw a Landscape?, Chine Colle: A Printer’s Handbook, John Cage Visual Art: To Sober and Quiet the Mind, and The North Pole. Sasha was production manager for Magical Secrets about Thinking Creatively: The Art of Etching and the Truth of Life. For Crown Point’s most recent book, Magical Secrets about Line Etching & Engraving: The Step-by-Step Art of Incised Lines, by Catherine Brooks, Sasha took the step-by-step photos, and managed the design and production of the book. Born in Philadelphia and raised in New York, Sasha moved to San Francisco in 1992 after receiving her BA from Sarah Lawrence College. She lives with musician Sonny Smith and their young son in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco.
